Education Subcommittee:
The Education Subcommittee serves DHHS as an experienced panel of experts:
1) to assess the needs in education for both the Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities and 2) to develop or to help staff develop curricula per approved strategy by the Board of Directors.

DHHS operates like many nonprofit organizations with a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board authorizes and forms various committees and subcommittees of volunteers to help with expertise and program/service delivery. The Education Subcommittee recommends programs or services to the Board for adoption.
